About the Artist
Eelco van den Berg
Eelco van den Berg: Illustrator, painter graffiti writer and dj.
Dutch artist that never sits still and has lunch behind his computer. Raised in Uden and got spelled by hip hop and graffiti during elementary school. His work is mostly hand-drawn and stands out by its strong use of colors and outlines, combined with highly decorative elements. His portfolio shows the variety of work he makes and the variety of clients he works for.
Eelco’s work has been featured national and international resulting in work made for: Camel, Canon, Computer Arts, Heineken, Levi’s Onitsuka Tiger, Shell and The Guardian to name a few. He has been a guest teacher at the School of Visual Arts in Rotterdam teaching illustration technique. Working for Instant Acts Berlin he has given graffiti lectures during the B-live club nights where the audience were featured on the wall in a typical Eelco collage style. His artwork has been featured on a wide range of media’s like: books, t-shirts, skateboards, tv, record covers, flyers, posters, stickers, surfboards, exhibitions, walls, calendars and bags.
Eelco has received a D&AD Silver award nomination for his work for Levi’s and has been on national television at Klokhuis that made a special about him featuring his work and way of working.
