Saskia Schnell


Saskia Schnell is born in 1978 in East Germany, Magdeburg. As a kid she was already into drawing. All day long, she was in her room, with paper and pencils and listened to records of fairytales. It hasn't changed much today. Since 2002 she is a Berlin based illustrator and graphic designer. During the last years, she worked for the Berlin music scene, for example Sony Music, Universal Music, Exzess Berlin, B2 Magazine Berlin / Barcelona, C-Heads Magazine / Vienna, Mercedes Benz. Her technique is based on line drawings, manipulated with photoshop. Her work is powerful and stylish, always with a dash of melancholy.
